For the event, we rented 2 large monitors to display live captions using lc.midcamp.org. These monitors were in rooms 314A and 314B on Wednesday and Thursday. More information on Live Captioning can be found on Github.
Volunteers sat at the front of the room and used laptop computers to display live captioning on the monitors.
Accessibility lanes were established on the floor with painters tape to help with the flow of foot traffic and to make access to the space more accessible.
When attendees purchased tickets for the event, we allowed them to share if they had accessibility needs on the form. There were no actual requests this year for additional accommodations from attendees. All responses were followed up via email, however, all submissions were discovered to be accidentally submitted.
