We spent the rest of the time looking at the new Drupal CMS project, which is a rebranding of the Starshot project:

It's a combination of Drupal core plus a variety of contributed modules, with default configuration and some guides to help people get going with a more functional site, with less time spent on minutia. Included in it are a few interesting modules I had not come across before, including:
