Took a little longer to review but update seemed to be fine, didn't break anything at least.

The DateRangeFieldTest change came from ✨ Add option to show only start or end date in the DateTime Range custom formatter Needs review but this has since been reverted, so I skipped that file in the MR. The rest of the changes are straightforward and make sense.
Backported to 10.3.x to keep things in sync, did not backport cleanly to 10.2.x.
Committed and pushed 3ed5953b1c to 11.x and 81727e878a to 10.3.x. Thanks!
