Problem/Motivation

Originally reported here https://www.drupal.org/project/user_guide/issues/3327235#comment-15269161 📌 Update User Guide content for Drupal 10.0.x/9.5.x Needs work , the ebook downloads are very out of date and need to get updated.

Proposed resolution

First we need to build new versions of the ebooks, and then we need to link them from this page https://www.drupal.org/docs/understanding-drupal/user-guide-e-book-downl... → . I'm working on sorting out how to get the build scripts running locally. And I'm also looking into removing MOBI and AZW3 formats as it simplifies the toolchain and doesn't seem like we need to support them anymore. See 📌 Remove .mobi and .azw3 e-book formats Active .

    Thanks @eojthebrave, I am very much looking forward to the Drupal 10 version.

    Since Drupal 11 is now open for development → and planned to be released in June/July or December 2024, perhaps an issue for Drupal 11 edition should be created?

    Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to release a Drupal 11 User Guide, right after Drupal 11 was released? I guess first step would be to add version 11.x as an option here in the User Guide project?

    I uploaded new ebook files to the linked docs page. So I think we can close this issue.
