Move Elementor module into Core

That idea should begin life in a contributed module.

https://www.drupal.org/project/elementor → Has 13 installs. Are you asking to port that to Drupal core, or is the request something else?

I suggest a plan to the community, not requesting anything, to port that into core with a switch option as detailed above.

I think the contributed module needs a stable release and some maintainers showing interest to even consider this. That module is marked “No further development”.

I agree, the Drupal Elementor module has stalled, and Elementor will not be available in Drupal.

@bendqh1: The closest thing in Drupal currently is probably the Mercury Editor → . You can try a fully functional demo by installing the test module, see my README MR.

Closing this since Elementor is no longer being developed. As noted there is a focus now on experience builder that should address the underlying issue.
