which version of layoutbuilder_extras are you using?

You need to update to the 2.x version of the layoutbuilder_extras module. There could be a version constraint that this module from a given moment is not compatible anymore with layoutbuilder_extras 1.x

I've created a MR that adds a composer.json that defines the conflict with drupal/layoutbuilder_extras 1.*, however I was not able to test this as I am unsure how to.
If someone else could test this, that would be great :)

I guess you took the right approach there, but indeed I'm not able to test it myself neither. But in my eyes it looks good. If someone else has remarks or can test this, what would be good to hear.

I would refactor the naming of the methods instead of declaring this as a conflict.
Doesn't hurt even though.
Will do a refactor later this year so this will get picked up in there (normally)
