Config not displaying in Drupal 10

Problem/Motivation

On Drupal 10, the Display Suite config is not displayed when the cog is clicked to edit.

Steps to reproduce

Edit the Display Suite config for a field, e.g. set field template from Default to Expert
Click Update
Click Save
Click cog to edit config for the field
Default field template is displayed (when it should be Expert)

Proposed resolution

After debugging, it appears that the form state is not being set correctly, but I can't see why not.
The summary page is displaying the correct field template.

Probably related with 🐛 Field formatter settings form and AJAX issue (regression on 10.1.x after #857312) Active , so tentatively closing.
