I second this proposal by @programeta to have the module actively maintained.
We are using this module for our Drupal 9/10 sites and it will be great to have an active queue with improvements rather than patching this module locally.

Hello, we are willing to maintain this module as well, and help porting this to D10, we use this module for a few D9 sites and we would like to have this module ready for D10 as soon as possible.

Hey! Thank you for showing interest in helping with this module. I will make sure that all the existing issues on GitHub will be transferred to drupal.org and then we can start improving this 💪
I created this module in the past to provide a simple solution but yeah it's time to revisit this again and start with some refactoring and put energy into this here again ⚡️
