Problem/Motivation

Behavior of the component is like totally the opposite of what it's supposed to be, amiright?

Proposed resolution

Change name.module line 397 from
if ($component == 'credentials' && !empty($element['#credentials_inline'])) {
to
if ($component == 'credentials' && empty($element['#credentials_inline'])) {
