Features to check before publishing the module

In 🌱 Commerce Log Mailer Closed: works as designed I asked whether it was meaningful to join forces with the Commerce Email module or publish this module's code as full project itself. The gentle response of the maintainers contained references to these two similar feature requests from Drupal Core:

2. 💬 How to Add Order Comment and also Allow to notify customer via email? Active

The purpose of this task is to check the discussions in these issues, take what's best from them as problems we could solve in our module and only then publish it.
