2. The last commit on this project’s git repo was made on 23 June 2020, which was 3 years ago
3. A D10-compatible release has not been made, although an RTBC’d patch is already available in 📌 Automated Drupal 10 compatibility fixes Fixed
4. I have emailed all maintainers of this project (jadhavdevendra, vinmassaro, makbul_khan8) on 16 May 2023 about tagging a D10-compatible release, for which I’ve yet to receive a reply
5. This issue itself has not received a reply from the maintainers for two weeks

PS: Although I’d love to help with getting a D10 release out the door for this project, I do not have permission to opt into security advisory coverage. I’m really hoping someone can help to get this module a D10 release - the only change needed is core_version_requirement!

I contacted the project owner and all the users with the permission to commit code. This is the message I sent to the project owner.

    Hello Devendra,

I am contacting you because the "Node title help text" module ( https://www.drupal.org/project/node_title_help_text → ), a project for which you are project owner, has been reported to be unsupported.
May you post a comment in https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3366044 📌 Node title help text appears to be unsupported Fixed and report whenever you mean to make further commits that fix the bug reported for that module? Please do not reply to this email; we need a publicly visible comment in that issue.

I am contacting all the users with the permission to commit code for that project.

    Best regards,
    Alberto Paderno

I am changing status, since we are waiting for a reply.

@apaderno: I am listed as a maintainer but unfortunately I don't have the time to maintain this module going forward. I can commit the current RTBC issues to get a new release out and change the project status to "seeking new maintainer". Let me know if I should do anything else. Thanks.

@vinmassaro That sounds like a good plan. I think that should be sufficient.

  • 🇧🇪Belgium Frederikvho Belgium

Is this project still looking for a new (co-)maintainer? We would be interested.

  • 🇳🇴Norway gisle Norway

Frederikvho, its Maintenance status is now "seeking new maintainer" so I believe it is looking for a new maintainer.

If you're interested, I suggest you file a new issue in the project's issue queue → where you offer to help out maintaining, and PM jadhavdevendra → to make him aware of your offer.

  • 🇺🇸United States vinmassaro

@Frederikvho I updated the project status to looking for a new maintainer. I am going to check if jadhavdevendra is still active in Drupal and would like to maintain the project. If not, I will make you a maintainer. In the meantime, I'm committing existing RTBC issues and will get a new release out soon. Thanks!

  • Issue was unassigned.
  • 🇮🇹Italy apaderno Brescia, 🇮🇹

@vinmassaro You do not have the permission to add maintainers/co-maintainers. Frederikvhob will need to open a new issue to be added as maintainer.

This issue has been created because the project seemed unsupported. Since the project status has been changed to Seeking new maintainer, it cannot be marked as unsupported.

There is nothing else site moderators need to do.

Actually, this issue can be considered fixed.

Just wanted to give an update -

@apaderno: I have committed RTBC issues and pushed up an 8.x-1.3 tag, but it appears I do not have access to create a release.

Frederikvho has offered to maintain this module in 💬 Offering to maintain Node title help text Fixed and I support his request

I have reached out to Devendra directly by email.

  • Automatically closed - issue fixed for 2 weeks with no activity.
