CKEditor Anchor Link - create a logo

I am working on this at DrupalCon Pittsburgh.

Here are my proposed images for the logo.
I have put two versions, one transparent and one with a white background.

Great looking logo!

The image dimensions are correct. However the file sizes are much too big. I have run them through pngquant to reduce to around 8kb to meet the requirements.

Of the two, personally I prefer the transparent background version. I did a quick check of how it looks on a dark background, and I think it looks good:

So my vote is for the transparent version.

Hello - just wondering why the logo doesn't include an anchor? I get the reference to CKEditor and Linking, however feels like it's missing the tie in to anchor links specifically.

@johnpicozzi, good call.

I've done some tinkering, and created a logo with the purple CKEditor hexagon, combined with a ships anchor...

However, after completing this, I notice the button the module adds uses a flag symbol. Would that be a better choice?

@lostcarpark Thanks for the quick update. I'm thinking we keep the links and add the anchor to the middle of the circle. What do you think?

As for the flag, it honestly has never made sense to me why they use a flag. I think the anchor is great and will make sense to people.

@johnpicozzi, how about something like this?

I had a quick look at the module repository, and it appears that the anchor button graphic comes from the CKEditor library. We probably don't want Drupal to be inconsistent with other uses of CKEditor, so I think we'd need to try to get it changed there. If you fancy opening an issue on CKEditor, I'd be happy to contribute an image.

Sorry for the delayed response here. I'm thinking we don't want to copy CKEditor with the flag Icon. The purple CKEditor ring is good and widely recognized. I think your original with the links being the focus was good. I think we should add the anchor in the middle of that one.

@johnpicozzi, the original version was by @mrcgomez, so I don't want to take credit for that.
