Patch #2 is working fine for me on drupal 10.0.9 and functionality is working as expected.

Hi,
The patch doesn't apply when used in composer.json, because Drupal.org packaging added some information at the end of the info.xml file.
Here is a "working with composer" patch version. - First commit to issue fork.
