Lazy loading should be made optional (first in code by passing the parameter from the calling template, later in UI?)
Otherwise PageSpeed complains for heros and other images:

I am still not sure it this is worth the work. No user will understand it and its a none responsive Solution => How to detect what images are "above the fold" on different device sizes?
My feeling is, we only add this to make the Google Search console happy.. without any real benefit. Looking forward to see the follow up issue in the Search Console "image needs lazy loading".
