I'm happy to make you a co-maintainer, I think you've done good things for the project. I just want to get a commitment not to include code to help 'clean up duplicates'... the module is about identifying and restricting them. I think clean up code is a one run problem... and complicates the code and maintenance. It's also very installation specific.
We could look at a `media_duplicates_cleanup` module.

Hi @nterbogt, thank you very much for your reply and kind words! :)
I totally agree with #2! Cleanup should definitely be a submodule. I added a comment in ✨ [3.x] Add functionality to help merging / deleting duplicates Postponed .
Our team would be happy to help with the future development of this module. If possible, please also add my teammate @Grevil as Co-Maintainer. I can ask him to comment here to confirm that.
Currently we're in some heavy projects, but as soon as we have the time, we'll start planning and implementing the experimental submodule. That definitely would have helped us in several projects, especially D7 migrations a lot already.
Thank you very much!

Just to confirm... I don't think it should be a sub module, but another project on drupal.org. My personal feeling is that we need to move away from including everything in one mega module... that was good before we had composer. Now we can do better :)

Hey @nterbogt, I am a co-worker of @Anybody, I would also apply as a co-maintainer.
I wouldn't commit anything, that isn't reviewed properly and work really close together with @Anybody in terms of code reviews and code additions. Making me co-maintainer would just make the peer programming and general clean-up with @Aynbody way easier.
I am keen on your feedback!

@Anybody You have been added as maintainer (not co-maintainer); you can add co-maintainers.

Thanks @apaderno, sorry I didn't see that! Fine :)
