WSOD Errors when using with Drupal 10

Problem/Motivation

Getting this error when trying to merge terms:

Drupal\Core\Entity\Query\QueryException: Entity queries must explicitly set whether the query should be access checked or not.

And the following when user confirms the replacement term.

TypeError: Drupal\Component\EventDispatcher\ContainerAwareEventDispatcher::dispatch(): Argument #1 ($event) must be of type object, string given, called

Steps to reproduce

1. Perform regular merging operations on Drupal 10 with the latest stable release.
