We could be using README.md instead of README.txt to make use of the nicer rendering via markdown.

Now that we've moved to GitLab, we should probably use Markdown instead of plain .txt files for our documentation

    I applied the MR !7 on Drupal 10.0 version and got the below error:

    Please try same in 2.x branch of search404. If already in 2.x branch than add the fork’s repository and pull in the 2.x branch. I have just cloned 2.x branch in D9 and D10 versions of drupal and can see the readme.md file.
    The md format seems fine and i tried converting that to HTML to view its appearance.
