Juste FYI, I'm using this module on a project, I'm using the v1.4 but I'm facing the same issue, after login the browse ( chrome not Fifrefox ) page is keeping loading continusly without ending and if I change the URL i'm connected.
I will upgrate to 1.6 to see if the issue still here or not for me, I'll leave a message here.
But as a second side effect of this, and it can explain the login issue, I got a strange issue due of this module while I'm debugging.
On PHPStorm with xdebug All my PHP are debugged twice ! Every time I load an url the debug is called twice and even I stop the debug in PHPStorm there is a incoming second call catched by my IDE.
So I think that something in the service worker is making a second call of the URL. Then the PHP is processing a second time.
I'm not sure but I think that could make some issue in some PHP process. And it will multiply the php process on the server ! it can make a heavy load !
