The dependency on the contrib module is removed in the d10 updates patch: https://www.drupal.org/project/ckeditor_tableselection/issues/3286515 π Automated Drupal 10 compatibility fixes Needs review
Should we add the dependency for core ckeditor back in?
dependencies:
ckeditor:ckeditor^ This is from a patch for a similar module: https://www.drupal.org/project/ckeditor_tabletoolstoolbar/issues/3286517 π Automated Drupal 10 compatibility fixes Needs review

I would like to use this module with the CKEditor 4 which is part of Drupal core now.
The core module is actually CKeditor 5, the version 4 was moved to a contrib module.
Unfortunately we can not easily swap the CKEditor versions, as this module (CKEditor Table Selection) is using the https://ckeditor.com/cke4/addon/tableselection library which is compatible with CKeditor4 only.
@mirtina2k, do you know an alternative library for CKeditor 5? - πΊπΈUnited States mortona2k Seattle
I donβt, sorry. Just running D10 updates on my site and checking module comparability.

I think this module is not needed anymore with CKEditor5. I just installed Drupal 10.1.2 with CKEditor5 and I was able to do the same things this module says are possible on the project page with CKEditor5.
If you read the Table Selection page for CKEditor5 it says:
This plugin enables the advanced table cells, rows and columns selection. It is loaded automatically by the Table plugin.

@adriancid, thank you for pointing at this.
It is indeed possible to do everythink from the box in Drupal 10.I will mark this module a deprecated.
