When adding a manual alias to a node when Domain Path Pathauto is enabled a 'TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string' error is thrown.

Steps to reproduce
- Install domain_path_pathauto and all dependencies.
- Create a domain record.
- Add a Pathauto pattern for a content type.
- Go to create a new node of that at content type.
- Uncheck 'Generate automatic URL alias for ' the domain.
- Save the node, see the error message.
