Install a site with this starter kit and create events with recurring dates. After adding 2 events, the calendar slows down to around a minute load time.
Look for a solution within smart date, as proposed by a fullcalendar view maintainer #15 in the issue above. The field should be able to produce the rrule value as that is stored in the db as part of the field value.
If this can't be patched by smart date, is there an alternative setup, like using the Recurring Dates module?
Investigate and propose solutions.
