The Rector patch on /src is not necessary and in fact breaks things. All that should be required is the core_version_requirement addition. Tested on Drupal 10.0.3. Module is allowed to install & TOC blocks can be created on content fields.

Tested the patch generated from stefanbutura's MR 5 and it's working well.

How about the symfony css-selector dependency? Shouldn't that be bumped to v6 for Drupal 10 compatibility?
I am wondering how this patch allowed to install in Drupal 10, without updating this dependency, and how it got RTBC. I think I am missing something here.

The changes in MR5 allow me to install and use this module with Drupal 10. The few changes in the MR look fine. And a quick scan through of the code doesn't show any other obvious changes that would be needed to make this D10 compatible.
Once this is merged we should probably also update the documentation on the main project page as the module now puts its settings on the field settings form, and not the field display settings form.

Thank you all for your work on this. I have a client I'm trying to get their site to Drupal 10. This is the only module I'm having issues with updating the site.
I was wondering when this will be merged into the stable release so we can get their site up-to-date.
Any update on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

@e0ipso this module no longer even shows a release past Drupal 7. How about merging this one and keeping the module alive?
