Hi folks,
Thanks for working on this issue. I did not know anything about this project and the push for contrib logos, and it's a great idea. But as the sole active maintainer for Scheduler I would like to give my feedback. I think the logo suggested in #6 and #10 is too busy and fussy, and has too many odd lines and is too complex. The pale background color is also not great. The later issue 📌 Create a logo for the Scheduler module Closed: duplicate (which was closed as a duplicate) had a logo which I think is nearer to what I would be prepared to add to the project. (credit to urvashi_vora for this version)
Also the Scheduler Content Moderation Integration → project (which is a sub-module of Scheduler) has just got an approved logo on #3459474: Project Browser: Create a logo for Scheduler content moderation integration →
Both of these are more like what Scheduler's logo should be. So maybe we can work with these.
New proposed design
I would like to suggest we use the basic idea (calendar and clock) from the first logo above (urvashi_vora), but match the color scheme and shaping from the SCMI logo. Then they will look like part of the same family. Below is a very rough mock-up jpg, cutting and pasting bits from each of the above. This is what I'd like to suggest, if someone can do the actual creation of the real file. It can be bigger, to fill more of the space, like the original one proposed on this issue.
Thanks to everyone here for working on this. I'm sure we can come to a good decision and get a great logo for the project.

Thank you @AaronDeutsch, #17 is great. I just have one request, to put back the two middle rings at the top, to make four like SCMI. I know I removed them in the mock-up but looking at it again I think it is better with four, and it also matches SCMI.
@Debdeep.Mukhopadhyay thanks for yiour version, but I prefer the one from AaronDeutsch. That was posted 10 hours before yours, and I was not able to see it and make a comment before you did your version (timezone difference, it was night time for me).

thank you for the feedback, I have added two rings to the top as requested

Thank you AaronDeutsch, this looks perfect to me. I have updated the issue summary.
It is 512 x 512 .png, only 6k so matches the requirements.
Can someone get a screenshot of the module in the Project Browser, as per the image in #11?

Tried to test the logo on the Project Browser but the logo not appearing currently, It is because I do not see
logo.png
in the source code of the Scheduler module https://git.drupalcode.org/project/scheduler/-/tree/2.x?ref_type=heads. - 🇬🇧United Kingdom jonathan1055
Hi @prashant.c
No, I have not committed the file, because I wanted to see a test first. There must be some instructions on how to take the logo file from this issue and store it locally in your /modules/custom/scheduler/ to test it.@amourow did something like this to get the image in #11, or maybe that was a mock-up screenshot, not from an actual test?

Changing the project to Scheduler, so I can create a MR for this.

I have downloaded the Project Browser module locally. I see that many logos fill the complete 512x512 area and I think ours should too. The design can remain the same, in principle, and I have attached a mock-up.
The calendar sides and bottom edge extend right to the edge of the 512 squaare, and the rings at the top go right to the top of the image. There are now five rings not four, and hence five columns of days (we do not need seven, even though a real calendar would have seven). I made the clock larger and moved it in, away from the edge of the image, as the curvature looked wrong now that the background goes right to the edges. This also meant removing some of the "days" dashes behind the clock, but that is fine, the part row is how a real calendar might look.
@AaronDeutsch would you be able to make this changes, as you have the primary source of the icon. Thanks
Mock-up
Here is how it will look in the project browser listing.

Hi @jonathan1055 Thanks for your thoughtful responses to the logos created for your module and for your work creating an alternate logo.
These are the requirements for a logo in the Project Browser - Create a logo that is 512x512 square dimension in PNG format without animations. Suggested file size should be 10k or less.
Your file size is currently around 48KB, please fix that before uploading your logo to the code repository. (Instructions have been added to the issue summary)

Hi leslieg,
Yes the mock-up I did was a cut&paste from the existing logo, so that's why the filesize was large, and in jpeg. Don't worry, I'm not going to upload this file to the project branch.I do not have the original source for where the logo was made. That was done by @AaronDeutsch so I am hoping he can do the updated version following the mock-up in #29
"If you would like to test the proposed logo ..." nice to see this addition, as I wrote that for the meta issue summary :-)
- 🇬🇧United Kingdom jonathan1055
Moving this back to the Project Browser queue. I am happy to commit the logo file when it has been created as per the mock-up in #29 using the right spec.

Hi @jonathan1055, as @AaronDeutsch seems to be busy, so I just had a quick look at it and landed on the version that you've suggested. Please have a look once and let me know if anything needs to be changed further :)
- 🇬🇧United Kingdom jonathan1055
Thanks for working on this manojsaha. However, it does not look like you have created a new file from scratch, which is what is needed here. It looks like you have just taken my mock-up and made some changes. When zoomed in I can see the rough edges of the graphics, exactly duplicated from my mock-up copy/paste. Also the mis-alligment and uneven spacing is identical to the mockup. The shapes need to be properly aligned and distribued evenly. See the two anotated attachments.

I decided to make my own, with the corrections I wanted. I also realised that the logo should not be rounded at the corners, as that is explicitly reqiested. However, in our case the rectangle was representing a notebook/calendar which had round corners, so it might have been OK anyway.

Thanks jvbrian but we've already settled on the design, not going to completely change it now.
Updated issue summary with the reduced size file, as required.

Attached is the file I will upload to the Scheduler project, and is shown in the issue summary. Thank you to everyone who has contributed here. I am marking this 'fixed' and I have tried to give correct credit. Also need to add credit to @urvashi_vora from the original issue.
