Problem/Motivation

The intent of this issue is to help the maintainer(s) coordinate community efforts in the creation of a stable release. Community involvement is only intended as a suggestion; it is up to maintainers to ultimately decide the creation of, and what goes into, a stable release. If you are not interested in using this issue, please mark the issue as Fixed or Closed (works as designed).

As of the creation of this issue, this project presently does not have a stable release compatible with Drupal 9+. There are many benefits to publishing a stable release for a module.

Sorry for the delay. Finally I got a chance to come back to this module and test on a site using comments. The result is a number of new issues that need to be solved before stable release. Good news is that I plan to solve them soon.

2.x has 700 sites using now, so that's good testing to declare a stable release.

There were some more non-BC changes meaning we needed to move to a 3.x release.

The known issues are all now fixed. Plan for creating releases:

3.0.0-alpha1 available now

3.0.0-rc1 coming in 1-2 weeks

3.0.0 coming in 4-6 weeks after fixing any bugs in the rc

Now that both 2 and 3 work in Drupal 10, why the fork? What's the difference between the two? Does 3 have any features 2 doesn't have?
