Tested the patch from #7 and it works, currently on Core 9.5.2!!

Quick follow-up this patch is working great. So changing status to: Reviewed & Tested by Community.

As a reminder, when work is finished in an issue the "assigned" field should be changed back to "unassigned".

Looking at the latest version. this is fixed by an isset check.
