Won’t do as media library needs general UX improvements in stead
It's a pain to have to go through an entire library to see the images you just want to select (see issue 3216864) but it's even more so if you have a lot of images to add (eg. in photo gallery) and have to manually select each of them separately, sometimes in different pages (because the Media lib overview has a pager)
Add a checkbox or action that does 'select all' for the images that are currently visible in the overview (grid or table)
