Use Drupal's DateFormatter instead of PHP's built-in format to make use of Drupal's translations

Hello, we have a website that has more than one language, but the formatting is always in English, example '12:00 PM', the 'PM' part is translatable in Drupal, but since the module is using the PHP's built-in formatting, it will always be 'PM'. We should use Drupal's DateFormatter service.
