Make the view mode that is used configurable

3x.dev not work

We will port to 3.x (with D10/11 support).

I ported the patch for 3.x for D10/D11.

Please review and feedback.

Maybe $view_mode should not be set to 'full' because its an optional parameter with its own optional value depending on the view-builder called. ('node' is used so 'full' shoud be fine but wanted to mention it. See EntityViewBuilderInterface)
