Views, contextual filter does not work on a page with wildcard path

Problem/Motivation

I have a view with a page with a path with a wildcard in it. If i use the contextual filter "Content: ID" with a fixed value, the content shows up in the preview, but not on the page it self? This also happends with the contextual filter "Taxonomyterm: ID" with a fixed value. If i remove the wildcard in the path and i go to that page it suddenly works.

Steps to reproduce

  1. create a "view" with a page set it on a content with taxonomy field
  2. set the path to "/the-register/%"
  3. create a "Relationship" "Taxonomy term" with "Vocabularies" on the Taxonomy name and enable "Require this relationship"
  4. create a "Contextual filter" on "Taxonomy term: Term ID", set "Relationship" on the previous created relation and "Provide default value" on "Fixed" and in the "Fixed value" "1" (the taxonomy term id)
  5. save the view
  6. press "Update preview"

Now you see some results in the preview, but if you go to "/the-register/asdfsdfs" nothing is shown
