Problem/Motivation

When @cboyden's team did an assistive tech walkthrough of Media Library for #2834729: [META] Roadmap to stabilize Media Library β†’ using NVDA on Firefox, we discovered that there are two issues needing improvement in the labels on the tab/buttons for each type of media being added:

a) the labels are actually written as "show [mediatype]media" with the media type and the word "media" running together (e.g., audiomedia, imagemedia instead of Audio Media and Image Media)

b) These labels are far more wordy than they need to be, making it less efficient for the user to navigate through - the words "show" and "media" are not needed because that is the group we are already in and the user knows what they will do; it would be more helpful if the first word the user hears is the media type (e.g., "image") instead of "show"

This interaction can be viewed on the video recording of the September 29, 2019 walkthrough of Media Library at around minute 20.

Proposed resolution

Remove the words "show" and "media" from the tab's aria-label.
