File (Field) Paths β is the only way to achieve this. Since this is a support request and works in Core as designed closing as such.
Hello, hopefully this is a very simple answer to this question.
I created an 'Audio Category' vocabulary with various terms
I added added an entity reference field (field_media_audio_category) to the 'Audio' media type referencing the Audio Category vocabulary
I set the file directory on the field_media_audio_file field to: media/audio/[media:field_media_audio_category:entity:name]/[date:custom:Y]-[date:custom:m]
But, I get: File directory is using the following invalid tokens: [media:field_media_audio_category:entity:name]
Question is, does Core's media module integrate with all of the Tokens from the Token module? Why would the above token not be acceptable as a valid token?
