Thanks for the #10, it does resolve the issue, but afterwards I'm facing issues of dis-functional search results
Given a view with an exposed sort form to sort a search API database or solr index with facet filters.
When a selection of filters have been applied and you change the 'Sort By' option after using a facet filter, the facet filter is ignored by Views or the Facet API's query parameters are also not being sent to the server and the listings will default to show all results
I have attached a patch the works for now. The patch also takes into consideration if you have facet pretty path module enable else it adds facets filters as hidden form fields to views exposed forms.
