External link under child menu not translatable

Once an external link is added to a translation for child menu, it is not getting translated and follows the default language link. For parent menu, translation for external link is working as expected.

I am also seeing this issue on one of my projects. Patch attached is to recursively iterate through child menu links to process them the same way as parent menu items are processed.
