Tested today on a fresh install of the Umami demo. When saving a new translation there is no redirect to the front page, it stays on the translation page.
Therfore closing as outdated.
On User interface translation page(admin/config/regional/translate?langcode=[lang]), the form getting redirected to first page every time after submission.

The change is currently missing an automated test that fails when run with the original code, and succeeds when the bug has been fixed.
