At this point, we don't need a Drupal 8 module. As Drupal 11 has just been released, and Drupal 9 is nearing EOL, I would say work on an update that will be compatible with Drupal 10/11, and then keep it up going forward.

I have a D10 version of commerce_affiliate and affiliate_ng 95% working that I want to contribute.
Can the maintainers create a 2.x branch of each product so I can provide a MR for others to test out?
Or whats the best way for me to add it?
