Expected outcome:
Use select on exposed filter with more than three or four items and have checkboxes persist.
Current outcome:
Use select on exposed filter with more than three or four items and checkboxes are removed.
I'm trying to use an exposed filter to show a list of taxonomy terms that people can select to view a tagged set of articles. The problem is that I can't choose "checkboxes" because the only options are radios and select.
I'd like to be able to specify, like I believe we could do in D7, that I want them to be checkboxes with the ability to select multiple items (non-radio). This is a bit compounded by the fact that I have another exposed filter with a different set of taxonomy terms but it only contains two items--also multiple/non-radio. So both of my filters have the exact same configuration but one is showing up as checkboxes and one is showing up as a select list sans checkboxes.
I feel like this is especially a problem when you want the visitor to the site to know that they can select multiple items in the list.
Can we add a "checkbox" widget alongside radio and select that will keep the checkboxes next to the filter items regardless of the number of items you have available?
