Have two instances of the same autocomplete search field on the same page.

This just happened to me in the latest release. There were two search fields, a new wide one at the top, and the regular one below.

It happened after I changed the path from /s to /search, or possibly after experimenting (and failing) with https://www.drupal.org/project/search_api_spellcheck → .

I tried disabling "Expose this filter to visitors, to allow them to change it" under the Filter criteria >> Search: Fulltext search (and ) field saved, re-enabled and saved, and the extra field is now gone.

I misread this issue. What I experienced is something else, and a general Search API issue, so I created 🐛 Setting Filter Criteria >> Filter Identifier to q in a View adds extra input field Closed: duplicate .
