Setting Filter Criteria >> Filter Identifier to q in a View adds extra input field

Problem/Motivation

Using Drupal 10, if you change the Views "Filter identifier" to "q" under Filter criteria >> Search: Fulltext search (and ), there are two search fields, a new wide one at the top, and the regular one below.

Any other value and there is only one input field.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install modules from latest release with drush in search_api, search_api_db, search_api_db_defaults
  2. See that there is only one search field under /search/content
  3. In the View under /admin/structure/views/view/search_content, change "Filter identifier" to "q" under Filter criteria >> Search: Fulltext search (and )
  4. See that there are now two search fields, a new wide one at the top, and the regular one below at /search/content

Proposed resolution

Allow setting "Filter identifier" to "q".
