Tour tips are provided as configuration, so never get updated

This extension is being deprecated, see 🌱 [Meta] Tasks to deprecate Tour module Fixed . It will be removed from core and moved to a contrib project, 📌 [11.x] [Meta] Tasks to remove Tour Postponed .

This is now Postponed. The status is set according to two policies. The Remove a core extension and move it to a contributed project → and the Extensions approved for removal → policies.

Changing this to a plan. Does seem like it could be a complete rewrite of tours which may be out of scope of the module.

If you need to update existing tours, you could use a recipe's config actions. That would lower the risk of losing customizations and allow for fine-grained updating.

Still not up to date with recipes but would would that entail?

So discussing with @thejimbirch, @rkoller, and @pooja_sharma

Eventually in 3.0.x we may remove all tours from the module and rely on recipes for handling that info.

So this has become outdated.
