Follow up for #1831530: Entity translation UI in core (part 2) β†’

Problem/Motivation

The help page could use some more polishing and testing by people who are new to setting up translation in Drupal.

Proposed resolution

(fill this in after discussion: description of the proposed solution, the rationale behind it, and workarounds for people who cannot use the patch)

Remaining tasks

  • get someone new to look at the text
  • talk about some of the word choices and phrases
  • use em tag consistently (what gets italicized?)

no ui changes anticipated, just changes to the help page

  • Usability

    Makes Drupal easier to use. Preferred over UX, D7UX, etc.

  • D8MI

    (Drupal 8 Multilingual Initiative) is the tag used by the multilingual initiative to mark core issues (and some contributed module issues). For versions other than Drupal 8, use the i18n (Internationalization) tag on issues which involve or affect multilingual / multinational support. That is preferred over Translation.
