Add "View any %nodetype% content" and "View own %nodetype% content" permissions

This patch adds a 'view $node->type content' permission for each basic content type (like page and story) and content types made with CCK. It allows the admin to set which roles can view nodes depending on their content type and makes easier to have a private section only for some roles.

With this patch 'access content' is no longer valid for those type of contents that have a specific 'view $node->type content' permission. I understand this is an important change, but I think once you get used to that system it becomes an important feature.

I appreciate suggestions of other ways of getting the same result.

    Thank you for sharing your idea for improving Drupal.

    We are working to decide if this proposal meets the Criteria for evaluating proposed changes. There hasn't been any discussion here for over 8 years which suggests that this has either been implemented or there is no community support. Your thoughts on this will allow a decision to be made.

    Since we need more information to move forward with this issue, the status is now Postponed (maintainer needs more info). If we don't receive additional information to help with the issue, it may be closed after three months.

    Moshe was right in 2007, this can be implemented in contrib. Doing it in core would mean having to handle it in all listings, views etc. generically.
