This issue occurs again in my website, but it seems to be working on the server, but when I navigate to the website using the domain name, it occurs again after accepting cookies. Popup appears after reload and page change. do let me know the solution its urgent.
Thank you @gisle 2nd option is working not on time but yes it working once the file status changes to temporary. then the temporary file deletes after 6 hr.

Although I am familiar with this change record, do you have any documentation on Drupal.org that mentions unlink is not working due to this? This is something like a link and I would like to explain it to the client.
