During an ad-hoc community meeting with @Volkswagenchick we discussed updated this document with clarity around:
- updating Don't point about Assigning to yourself with difference between Core vs Contib and removing assignment when need to take a break and adding comment with status update and if you plan to pick this up later or not
- Reserving Novice issues for people who are novice to the issue queue
- Figure out a way to categorize the etiquette tips to make it easier for folks to find things that are relevant to them
- Add etiquette rules about helpful vs unhelpful patches, comments, issues and expectations
When changes are made, we should alert the site moderators and admins about these changes.
We should add links from the Issue Queues/Issues to the IQ Etiquette page and when adding a new account.
