Probably the same problem as here https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/1241654 🐛 Reduce memory usage of taxonomy terms overview page Needs work

Maybe in 11? I am facing this issue as well. I have a large location taxonomy (geonames import) and I am unable to view the /admin/structure/taxonomy/manage/my_taxonomy_name as it is timing out with a 500 memory limit error (I have 2 GB mem limit)

Thanks, can we get this committed pls?

Getting this error on a content that has a taxonomy term, and I added a facet for the term name...

Sry just seeing the responses :) Issue outstanding in latest Drupal 10.x

Use case: Location taxonomy with Contintents -> Countries - >cities. I imported a geonames taxonomy into my Drupal site with over 300k terms. My Drupal site is pretty much dead on several screens, such as taxonomy relations edit...
I noticed I cannot even change the Relations field on the "Manage Form Display" screen.. Sad.

Hello Karen, can we get this committed pls? :)

PS this issue impacts not just the taxonomy overview page, but taxonomy edit, batch update etc etc. (using Drupal 10.2.0 and php 8.1)
I have a large location based taxonomy with continents -> countries -> cities and unable to make edits, bulk update url aliases...

Adding another tip for editing core extension yaml via devel, taken from https://www.drupal.org/node/2487215

Fantastic writeup!

The devel tip for editing the core. Extension was priceless!! Should be mentioned at https://www.drupal.org/docs/updating-drupal/troubleshooting-database-upd...

I managed to upgrade to Drupal 9.2 with the composer command found here  https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/releases/9.2.0

composer require drupal/core-recommended:9.2.0 drupal/core-composer-scaffold:9.2.0 drupal/core-project-message:9.2.0 --update-with-all-dependencies

Weird, I was under the impression composer is smart enough to figure out the minimum working versions for every module...
