The diagonal stripes generate an optical illusion for me where it looks like the page is moving: it's extremely distracting and makes it really hard to read any of the other text on the page, or scan around to look for waypoints.

It seems like a significant accessibility issue for a tool that takes great pride in it's accessibility - given that this affects several people in the relatively limited set of folks who have viewed the new design, it seems like it would affect a large number of visitors.

Diagonal lines are pretty famous for leading to this type of effect and the foundation for many optical illusions - I think there is a reason you don't often see full-width repeating diagonals used for page backgrounds.

My suggestion is to drop using diagonals completely here and pick a solid color, color fade or a subtle texture that adds character without distracting from the content.

Adding this related issue, which is a suggestion to add Open Source Vulnerability (OSV) format vulnerability advisories - I think there is quite a bit in common with the CVE schema and perhaps there is a way to do both.
I guess if we are planning to get official CVEs submitted for all vulnerabilities, then OSV may not strictly be necessary (since they would be aggregated by the various libraries scanners use).
On the other hand, if there are some that may not get assigned CVEs, or if we are concerned about CVE capacity/delays (which I think has been an issue recently), having vulnerabilities in OSV format would still be worthwhile.
I also came across this post describing how CPython handles this which includes a handy script to generate an OSV from a CVE.

Looking through the forks of AkamaiOPEN-edgegrid-php-client I came across https://github.com/FranceMediasMonde/AkamaiOPEN-edgegrid-php-client which upgrades to psr/log v3 as well as some other dependencies.

Some interesting thoughts so far - using a menu callback for generation is an interesting idea. @catch, have you tried this patch on any production sites?
