Social Counters pulls the number of followers/subscribers/likes/etc. from several social networks and saves them in Drupal cache. Also this module provides:

Drupal 8 features:

Exportable configurations.
Social counters are entities now.
Module provides integration with Plugin API, so you can easily extend it.
Views integration.

Drupal 7 features:

API that allows extend module's functionality.
Integration with Variable module. It allows to have different counters for different languages.
Retrieve data by cron.

Currently supported:

Facebook. Number of likes of a Facebook page.
Twitter. Number of followers of a Twitter account (requires OAuth module for Drupal 7).
Google Plus. Number of followers of a Google Plus account.
VK.com. Number of members of a VK group.
Instagram. Number of followers of an Instagram account.
YouTube. Number of subscribers of a YouTube account.
Flickr. Number of members of a Flickr group.
Pinterest. Number of followers of a Pinterest account.
Soundcloud. Number of followers of a Soundcloud account.
