Session garbage collection on Debian(-based)

On Debian and Debian based systems, it's necessary to add a couple of ini_set()s to the settings.php file, otherwise the session garbage collection of PHP (and Drupal) would never run resulting in very, very large sessions table.

The instructions are at http://drupal.org/node/35834 I wonder if this should be included somewhere in the installation guide as a Hint or so. It was really helpful.
