Currently, the "master" branch is set as the default branch, meaning this branch will be set as the default merge target when creating issues and pulling this project via git will default you to this branch as well.
This branch is BROKEN as it contains a commit, that had several flaws ( 📌 Fix the issues reported by PHPCS Needs work ). This regression caused by the issue is fixed in 2.0.x, but since 2.0.x isn't the default branch, it can be overseen easily.

With drupal.org repositories, it is not possible to delete a branch once releases are created from that branch.
The 2.0.x branch should be the default branch, though.
