Issue Summary

Problem/Motivation
We tested the Search Autocomplete module (v4.0.0) on Drupal 11.0.x-dev as part of GSoC 2025. Everything works as expected, core search, Views integration, and autocomplete features function without issues.

No errors, no deprecated API warnings, and stable UX.

Steps to reproduce
1. Install fresh Drupal 11.0.x-dev using DDEV or Lando
2. `composer require drupal/search_autocomplete:^4.0`
3. Enable module and configure autocomplete

    Hi!

Thanks a lot for your help and review. However, I’d like to ask for some more information about this: the MR and the issue seem to relate to the 3.x branch, which is 12 commits behind 4.x. Moreover, the 4.x version is already D11 compatible.

Could you elaborate on why you did this work specifically under 3.x?

Hi Miroslav, thanks for pointing it out!

You're right, I mistakenly based the work on 3.x instead of 4.x, not realizing 4.x is already D11-ready. The main goal was to update the documentation. Should I close this MR and open a new one targeting 4.x with just the documentation updates? Thanks

That would be lovely if you can !

Hey @dom, is the current documentation in !10 sufficient, or would you like any modifications? I've followed Drupal's official README standards.
