Implementing jQuery.now()

Problem/Motivation

Someone requested me to implement jQuery.now() in the list of the deprecated functions: https://api.jquery.com/jQuery.now/

I think is easier to use the native method Date.now() as suggested in the link above, but I guess the old library being used has a lot of calls to jQuery.now() that he's to lazy to change all the calls :)
